Prayers To Expel Witchcraft Practices From our Midst
Text: Isaiah 47 v 1-15, Leviticus 26 v 19-25, Leviticus 26 v 39-42.
Confession: Exodus: 22 v 18: Thou shall not suffer a witch to live.
Introduction: What is witchcraft?
Witchcraft is the result of man in rebellion, seeking to persuade against or come against the direction of the Lord. A spirit of defiance: an action taken in our thoughts, attitude, heart, words. It can be likened to {passive aggressive behavior}.
Passive aggressive behavior is not seen as expressly rebellious, but falls short of the required faith to move cooperatively towards a given direction.
The result is that it limits the move of what God would otherwise do.
Witchcraft begins in our responses to challenges, difficulties and problems that test our faith. Sometimes out of weariness or stress, we give in to a spirit that is not of God, and an attitude comes over. We like to call it, just being a little grumpy. Maybe that is what it starts out to be, but if unchecked, it can lead us to a place where we do not care about what God thinks, we just want to act out our pain, hurt, frustration or selfish desires.
The result is that we attract the spirit of witchcraft. We give place to this spirit and it begins to move us in ways that work contrary to the spirit of grace.
The consequence is that our heart begins to harden to truth and love, and we begin to move, think, act, and express emotions that are contrary to the Holy Spirit. When left unchecked, this spirit will seek to influence others defiling many… so many that an entire group or a congregation can become affected.
This spirit moves in a direction that opposes what Jesus is seeking to see occur in our lives.
The root of witchcraft is borne out of pride to usurps God’s place and seek to influence our will, and produce behaviour that is borne out of the soul apart from God’s direction.
God desires that we use the authority He has given us to walk in purity of heart and not allow the enemy any place to operate in us.
We must deal aggressively with any spirit or behavior that seeks to bring us under the control of ungodliness.
Jesus has won our victory and we identify with His overcoming identity and character available to us through the Holy Spirit, by which we can overcome all powers of wickedness.
Prayer Points
- Every spirit of Jezebel engaged in white witchcraft assigned against my life, ministry and destiny, die in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every spirit of discouragement accusing me and using evil tongues to destroy my life and destiny, be burnt to ashes, in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
- Every spirit of envy, malice, on an assignment to destroy my life and destiny be cut off and nullified by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
- Every power on assignment to keep my name and that of my family members in the book of death; be destroyed and burnt to ashes, in Jesus Mighty Name.
- Every demonic guarding spirit monitoring the souls of men, and causing them to backslide, be destroyed by fire, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Caging spirit, spirit of stagnation, covering the people with pitch darkness, your time is up, roast to ashes, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every witchcraft power of Janes and Jambres {Capricorns}, keeping the people of God in one spot and not letting them move, be destroyed in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every red witchcraft power, false prophets, diviners, enchanters, witch-doctors, sorcerers, on assignment to destroy my life, family, and ministry, die by fire, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every masonic curse of the tongue and sacrifices made against my life, ministry and destiny, in order to kill, steal and destroy finances, businesses, marriage…, die in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- I come against the Queen of heaven, the child of the Queen of the prince of the air, working tirelessly to destroy my life, destiny and family, catch fire and roast to ashes, in Jesus Mighty Name.
- Every sorcerer or witch, manifesting in dreams, in order to steal, and destroy my life, ministry and family, scatter unto desolation, in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
- Every spirit of defilement on assignment to prevent saints from true salvation and breakthroughs, be destroyed by the power in the blood of Jesus, in Jesus Mighty Name!
- Blood of Jesus, destroy every witchcraft power manipulating lives and destinies, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every demonic covenant operating in the lives of the people of God, be destroyed by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Spiritual wickedness, be rendered powerless, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every power limiting the move of God in our midst die in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every power assigned to cause division between the saints of God, be roasted by the Holy Ghost Fire, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Spirit of delusion causing false belief and opinion, meant to mislead or trick into error, roast to ashes, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- We stop all witchcraft activities with innumerable swords of fire of the Holy Ghost, in the Mighty Name of Jesus .
- Matthew 10 v 1: We cast out all witchcraft works, and the spirits behind them, and send them back into the abyss, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Charismatic witchcraft, your time is up, scatter unto desolation, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every demonic arrow of lust, Jezebel and Ahab, fired against the saints of God, die in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every spiritual weakness, lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life in the lives of the saints, roast to ashes, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Every spirit of fraud, lying, backbiting, gossiping, hatred, manipulation, competition, jealousy, envy, strife…in our midst, be destroyed by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
- Lord we pray for your mercy over your people Worldwide: may every genuine believer come to true repentance. As they repent oh Lord, forgive them, in Jesus Mighty Name! Amen!
- We seal our prayers with the blood of Jesus, in Jesus Most Powerful Name! Amen!
