2 Corinthians 5 v7: For we walk by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 4 v18: While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Hebrews 11 v 6: But without faith it is impossible to please Him for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Introduction

As winners our life is a walk by faith and not by sight. It is a daily walk with God from where we are to where God wants usto be.

This walk is undertaken by faith and not by sight.

Walking by sight is a natural phenomenon for humanity. When engaged in physical walking, we rely on visual data as well as data obtained from our senses of smell, touch and sound.

As winners who live a faith based life, we cannot walk in this manner. We must be solely dependent on our Lord and personal savior Jesus Christ! We must depend upon His Word and the work of grace by the Holy Spirit of the living God!

God does not only want our words of faith. He wants us to walk our talk and put our faith into everything we do.

God does not just want our prayers. He wants us to follow-up on our end by trusting in Him that the prayers we prayed have been answered. He wants us to trust His Will as we go through the journey of life.

God does not want simple proclamations or prophecies. He wants actions that show that we are listening to His guidance and following His direction.

Please note the following;

Faith and Forgiveness

The power of forgiveness comes from having a deep faith in God. It is not humanly possible to forgive naturally because as humans, when a wrong is done to us, we tend to focus on it so much so that we may at times find it difficult to forgive. The power to forgive comes with the assurance that God will take care of those we must part from. We may have parted from them because they caused us harm or because they betrayed us. We rest in the assurance that God will deal with them. That God will show them the light.

Having faith in God means we can forgive and move on, but this can only happen when we let Him work things out on our behalf.  Romans 12 v 19 says: Dearly beloved avenge not yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord!

Deuteronomy 32 v 35 says: Vengeance is mine, I will repay. In due time, their foot will slip; for their day of disaster is near, and their doom is coming quickly.

Faith and Godly protection

God is our burden bearer, He does not want us to carry our burdens alone because we cannot and should not. He does not want us to walk alone. He wants to walk with us, dwell in us and glow through us.

Many of the crippling weight we carry upon our shoulders can be alleviated by simply understanding that we do not have to carry our burdens alone. God is always there walking beside us and ready to take the entire load from us if we only ask Him to.

God wants us to ask because when we ask we receive. God wants us to seek His face because when we seek we find. God wants us to knock at Heavens door because when we knock, He will open the door for us. He is our shield, our guide, our instructor, our helper, our strength.

As winners, we are unified and made stronger by our faith in God`s protection.

Faith and Godly companionship

God is our constant companion and best friend. He is always looking out for us and always has our back. He is with us 24/7. He neither sleeps nor slumber; Psalm 121 v3-4.

Faith in the eternal promise of God is better than any superpower, because it really can bring blessings and miracles to us at any time.

When God created the heavens and the earth and all the inhabitants therein, He laid out His plans for the universe and that plan is still working even till today. When we lay our plans in God`s hands by making Him our constant companion, all ourplans will fall into place and we will be amazed at how awesome they will all begin to work out for our good.

Faith in God and making Him our closest companion can bring blessings and miracles to us at any time.  Our days are only worth living when the Lord is the director of them.

Faith in a God we cannot see

It`s a difficult thing to have faith in what we cannot see, hear or touch. When we cannot do any of these three things, our senses tells us that what we are trying to visualize is not real or is not tangible.

Moses parted the red sea with God`s help, but even though our daily lives is not as glorious as that miraculous act, God`s love for us is real as the force of the hurricane. God`s care for us is as tangible as we believe it to be. Our faith in the unseen is eternal and mightier than our faith in the seen.

We must continue to hold on to faith in God even when appearances and circumstances around us suggest that we are alone. Our times of loneliness are the times we need God the most and we should be rest assured in His overwhelming love that He will always come to our rescue. Wherever we go, wherever we look, wherever we travel, wherever we thread, whether we look up or down, God is already there waiting for our arrival. At all times, we must come to God. It`s better late than never.

Faith and Trust in God

It is one thing to put our faith in God and another thing to let Him take total control of our lives. Trust simply means to give another control over something.

We cannot say that we have faith in God and that we trust Him when we continue to hold on to our problems and complaints, when we continue to try to mend them or try to fix them ourselves in the belief that we can do a better job at fixing them. It is human nature to continue to make several failed attempts at fixing our own problems when we can commit them into God`s hands.

Committing things into God`s hands from the start ensures that our faith is well- placed from the very beginning of a pursuit.

We must look up to God for all things and put our unwavering faith in Him. Luke 17 v6 says: So the Lord said; if you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea and it would obey you.

When we place our faith entirely in God`s Will for us, we rest in His peace knowing that He leads us towards the highest good and the best outcome.

Faith is through God`s Word

The highest priority in life should be to get to know more of God and His Will for our lives. To live a life that reflects His love and truth. 1 John 4v8 says; everyone that loves is born of God and knows God. He that does not love does not know God for God is love.

Focusing on God`s Word is a great blessing. The more we keep learning and knowing more of it, the more faithfully we walk in our ways.  It`s a privilege to be able to read, meditate upon and understand the wisdom of God through the scriptures. Understanding scriptures makes our walk with God meaningful.

We can only love others when we genuinely love God. We must love God by following His Word. If we do this, all our other relationships will fall into place. Psalm 1v1-2 says; blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law does he meditate day and night.

In all we do, we must have faith. In all we think, feel, say, we must have faith. Walking by faith works on all levels whether it is spiritual, physical or mental. We must be faith in human form.

We must have faith even when we do not get the blessings we think we deserve from God. Not getting what we think we deserve might be because He is planning something better and greater for our good.

Our focus should be on God because He sees all and is aware of the miracles that we cannot see around the corner. We must continue to trust God and have faith in His plan, even if the outcome is not what we are expecting.

Find your faith when in doubt

No matter how many times we stumble and fall, we must find our faith and keep walking. We must continue to move forward on the path that God has set for us. We must walk in faith through the darkest valleys notwithstanding the obstacles. We must remain focused on our goal even when we get tired and weary, we must continue in faith resting assured that God will carry us in His arms when we cannot continue to walk on our own.

No matter how many times we make mistakes, God`s grace is sufficient for us. By His divine energy within us, we can do all things because He is continually strengthening us. He is ever ready to bring us to a place of fellowship with Him.

When in doubt, we must find our faith. When in fear we must find our faith. When in a state of confusion, we must find our faith.

Having a strong and unwavering faith in God is the key to success. It helps us overcome all the challenges that life throws at us. Faith is like a buried treasure which we must dig to find and when we find it, we must do all to keep and protect it from being stolen.

Conclusion

Without Faith it is impossible to please God

To err is human, to forgive divine. It`s part of life experiences for people to let us down and disappoint us. If we put our faith in people, we will be left frustrated and sad. It is only God that will not let us down or disappoint us.

Most often than not, people are not able to give us what we need, It is awesome when we know that we can turn to God in faith and find love and peace in His solid embrace. We must keep the Lord closer than we used to. Knowing we are not alone gives us strength and keeps us from falling into error over and over again.

Happiness comes to those who can let go of what they cannot control and let God take control. Living from a place of faith makes our burdens easier to bear. No matter who hurts us or how bad we feel, we must learn to be quiet and listen to the small voice within; the voice of God telling us that we are not a mistake, the voice of God telling us that we are loved, cherished and adored.

Remember that after we go through a memorable experience which may seem like a crisis to others we come out of it with greater lessons which others can benefit from.

True faith is demonstrated when we live a faith based life and are kind to those in need. God always strengthens us so that we can strengthen others. God blesses us so that we can bless others. God is merciful to us so that we can show mercy to others.

Remember that as winners, we cannot have one foot in the worldly scene and one foot in God`s Kingdom. We cannot play both fields at the same time and expect to get faith based results. We must choose a faith based life and look forward to God`s promise of eternity.

May the Lord help us to walk in faith without compromise from today! Amen!

Shalom!
